CURRENT PROJECTS
ELSA&VINCENT
Elsa&Vincent dive deep into their art to make it vibrate.
Brother and sister, their complicity unfolds on the piano and the voice.
Their nomadic music originates in jazz and travels according to their inspirations, gospel, Indian or French song. Their duo likes to share the stage with musicians from all walks of life. They take us into a warm, intense and delicate world, journeying on an authentic quest for the essence of life.
CINE-CONCERT
Improvised solos & +
I had the pleasure of improvising live on Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Tom & Jerry, Nosferatu and many others... Before the concert, I study the film and its structure. I then compose a few themes that I develop by improvising over the course of the session. I use different styles of music during the concert.
My favorite instruments are the grand piano, the nordstage EX, as well as the computer and the loop pedal. I work as well on a piano alone as in computer-assisted music.
The concert can take place in many ways. Short films, feature films and concert-workshop... Sometimes I play at private homes.

MY APPROACH

Inspiration
I have been performing my compositions and arrangements since I was 16, improvisation holds a prominent place. I inspires me with different symbols: Kabbalah, Sanatana Dharma or even poetry.
My different groups, Elsa&Vincent, ToTem mix jazz, improvised music, klezmer or chanson and perform regularly in France and abroad.
Met
Musical encounters with musicians such as: Annick Chartreux, Manuel Rocheman, Stephane Kochoyan, Richie Beirach, Benoît Delbecq, Christian Martinez, Jonathan Pontier, Karl Jannuska, Anne Pacéo were decisive in my musical development.
I collaborates with artists from all walks of life: theatre, painting, photography, dance, mime...
Sense
Since 2006, I travel regularly to India and compose as a volunteer within the NGO of the Indian Sage Amma Embracing The world. Staying in his monastery, I assiduously practice meditation and music there. I look for constantly linking these two disciplines.
