MY APPROACH
Musical intention
I first discuss with the director. We establish together the initial intention as well as a common vocabulary. Then I submit musical ideas to him. Following this preparatory phase, I immerse myself in the composition of the score.
Instruments
Depending on your specifications, I have real instrumentalists play on the composition in order to have a lively and warm sound. I have a large network of musicians. I also use virtual sounds, samples and electroacoustics.
Tools
Some basic tools before technology: paper, pencil and eraser for the score! Then comes the piano or the computer as a referent with the director. I work on logic 10, Pro Tools, Live. I can do the sound recording and mixing myself or work in the studio with a team.
